Twenty Twenty tour

Twenty Twenty were recently touring around the UK with support bands Room 94 and Future Proof, as well as a local support band for each venue.
Kim bought tickets for Twenty Twenty as soon as they came out, I mean literally, we got tickets 3 and 4. The tickets were for the 4th May at Rock City in Nottingham. We arrived a little bit early because of my interview with FutureProof. I've never been to Rock City before but it is quite a nice venue, the floors are ridiculously sticky and at one point when I was jumping to Twenty Twenty my shoe stayed stuck to the floor =P.
By the time me and Kim got into the venue The Hush had already began their set, they were really good, I had listened to one of their songs the day before, after I found out that they were the local support.
Soon after, FutureProof began to set up. Yes of course your set begins at 8 boys!... Anyway, pretty much as soon as they started I had to tell Max (the guy on TwentyTwenty's merch stand) about me having an interview. Shortly after, their tour manager came down and we went to do the interview with Twenty Twenty .

The Body Shop Chocomania Review

(Old upload)

I paid a visit to The Body Shop whilst I was in town recently (what a surprise) and I went straight to smell the Chocomania Body Butter, it smells absolutely lush, but I wasn't going to buy it because it was the day of The Wanted's concert in Nottingham. We spent the rest of the time deciding on a present for my best friends mother, after a little while of indecisiveness she chose the Wild Rose Handy Manicure Set Gift Tin -£12- and if you're interested it smells amazing as well.My friend lathered on the Chocomania Body Butter in the shop and then wanted to eat her skin.... I do not suggest this.
Anyway, we used my Love Your Body card and received 20% off so I couldn't gain a stamp, but then to take it over £10 I decided to buy the Chocomania body butter at it's introductory price of £9.

The Wanted - The Code - Opening date.

(Old upload)

The 15th February 2012 saw The Wanted begin their tour The Code at the Capital FM Nottingham Arena. Leah, Edina, Kimmeeh and myself got to Nottingham at 11 for pre-concert shopping. We made our way to Capital FM Arena so I could show them where it is, then we saw a massive group of people collecting around the back. Dedicated? Yes. Crazy? Most Definitely!
After which we shopped for a while and arrived back at Capital FM Arena around 3, (It was already absolutely freezing) and stood there until 3:30, the two girls who stood near us were really nice. Then we went and had a McDonalds, we didn't want to starve as well as freeze.

Been a tad MIA...

Soo.. my posts have really been lacking in the last month, but... it's all because I have had lots of revision, exams and art exhibitions to keep me busy, as well as the other people who would possibly post...

However, I have now finished ze exams, and therefore... PROMISE.. to do regular posts...
I have masses of posts sitting and waiting as drafts so I think I may just put them all up to begin with, so I can start a new on the draft front, even though some of them are months old I actually liked them and it was a shame I never posted them...
Anyway..
I'm Back =].. xx

Oh and we also had some issues with the blog that kept me in stressful mode for a few hours but I got it sorted out all by myself =D .. clever geek me.

FutureProof Interview.

FutureProof are made up of Jonni, Kiran and Charlie.
And I got the chance to interview them whilst they were in Nottingham for their performance at Rock City supporting Twenty Twenty with Room 94 and the local support The Hush. They're absolutely lovely, I mean after Charlie left us standing in the rain because he didn't email us back (Bethan now has a cold).

So, I had a bit of trouble getting someone to interview them with me, cancellations and all, but finally Bethan agreed and we met up at just before after half 4 in Nottingham, the whole bus journey was spent with me waiting for an e-mail back from Charlie....
When we got there it was raining so I bought a £3 umbrella from Primark (which I quite like), and as per usual a hot chocolate from Caffe Nero, and then we went and stood by Rock City. Bethan dragged me to the car park (I had no idea it existed), where we stood and by about 6 I decided to go to the doors at the back, where a guy unloading a van was standing and he went and got Kiran for me.
I must say I prefer where the FutureProof interview took place compared to the TwentyTwenty interview, it was a hell of a lot less formalised, even though the lighting was darker it still seemed more relaxed....

April '12 Favourites.

Quite a lot of these are things I've used before but they have become my favourite things to use over April.

Liquid Eyeliner - I'm planning on purchasing the Penultimate eyeliner by MAC, but because I've never really used it before I decided to stick with something a little bit cheaper, so bought a drug-store brand.
I am now in love with liquid eyeliner, I'm still yet to try gel-liner because, as I said, I've never really been an avid user of eyeliner. Nearly every day that I have worn make-up I have used my liquid eyeliner, and I was quite surprised on the quality of the Collection 2000 Waterproof liquid eyeliner, it doesn't smudge and is relatively easy to apply, however I would say that it needs a bit of practice first, especially if you're planning on winging the eyeliner as it doesn't always make a fine point.

Next up is The Body Shops's Brazil Nut Body Butter, now I must say this has been a favourite ever since I started buying it last year, but I've been using it sooooo much this month. In February and March I decided to mix up my moisturisers and use a non-The Body Shop one.. (This is surprising for me). I suffer with quite bad eczema, and I find it difficult to find a moisturiser that can keep on top of it without the need for any creams prescribed by a Doctor. However, this body butter fully moisturises my skin, and I haven't had to use a prescribed cream in months. It also smells ridiculously good <3. Big love for this body butter.

Now onto Temple Run... so... I jumped on the band wagon and downloaded Temple Run.... Very bad idea. I'm now addicted. But it is a great game.. I just wish I hadn't jumped on that band wagon...

The Avengers review.

Warning: This review contains spoilers and fangirling. Lots of fangirling.Note: Even though it's called 'Avengers Assemble' in the UK, I refuse to call it that, and therefore, 'The Avengers' it is.
This film is incredible. I've seen it twice now, once with a friend who hadn't seen Captain America, but had seen the rest, and once with another friend who is just as obsessed with the whole universe as I am.

Introducing - Lawson

Lawson are a group of four, Joel, Adam, Andy and Ryan, signed to Polydor.
Joel and Ryan were already friends from home, Adam messaged Andy to meet up with the idea of putting a band together, Andy knew Ryan through the London music scene and ta da Lawson were formed.
Joel is from Nottingham - (my hometown, therefore he is immediately awesome), Ryan is from Sheffield, Adam from Brighton and Andy is from Liverpool.
All four members play instuments - reason 1 why they are awesome, (reason 2 for Joel). They can flawlessly cover an Ed Sheeran song - reason 2 (reason 3 for Joel - you get the drill...). The majority of people will tell you that no-one should Ever cover an Ed Sheeran song because it just doesn't work well and can be easily ruined, but Lawson have done the almost impossible task of performing their cover of A-Team absolutely flawlessly.
